Eligibility for BA Admission

Admission Process for BA Admission

BA admission generally takes place online; also, some universities may conduct the CUET UG program. Firstly, candidates are required to search for a college or university in which they are interested in studying for a BA program. Start by going through its official website, filling out an application form, uploading documents, paying the registration fee and submitting your application before the last date.

Here are the steps mentioned for the admission procedure:-

Step 1: Research a college or university according to your preference and go through its official website

Step 2: Fill out the registration form with a username; provide an active phone number and email id 

Step 3: After registration, you will receive credentials like a username and password in your registered email and on your phone number

Step 4: Sign in to your admission account with username/password and fill out the application form with important information like address, educational qualifications, etc

Step 5: Upload your necessary documents like identity proof, qualification certificates, passport-size photograph and signature

Step 6: Before proceeding to the next step, make sure to check all your details mentioned in the application

Step 7: Pay the application fee of approx INR 300 to INR 1200 by provided options of payment (debit/credit card, bank transfer, netbanking)

Step 8: After completing all steps, submit your application and wait for the university or institute to check or verify all your documents and application form 

Step 9: After getting shortlisted, you will be called for counselling and seat allocation process

BA Entrance Exams 2026

Bachelor of Arts entrance exam for 2026 is conducted through CUET UG for central universities, and other major exams are IPU CET, LPU NEST, and JMI Entrance Test. All these national and university-level entrance tests ensure a fair and transparent admission process.

1. CUET UG: The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the Common University Entrance Test for UG programs for all central-level universities such as Jamia Millia Islamia, JNU, Delhi University, and many more.

BA Admission Course Fee Structure in India

The fee structure of a Bachelor of Arts depends upon the university or mode of education you have selected to study. Generally, fees of Private Universities are higher than Government universities.
