D.Pharma Admission 2026: Diploma in Pharmacy is the best option for those students who want to work immediately in the pharmaceutical industry or community pharmacy. D.Pharma admissions has already opened for the 2026-27 academic year. Interested candidates are requested to visit their desired university’s official website and apply before the deadline. Universities like DIPSAR, Amity University, Integral University are now accepting applications for D.Pharma admission. To be eligible for the D.Pharma course, students need to complete their 10+2 with 45% to 50% marks in PCB/PCM from a certified board. However some universities require students to appear for entrance tests like CET or JEECUP, while some universities also provide direct admission without any entrance exam. The fee range or D.Pharma course starts from INR 9,000 to INR 1 lakh per year. Eligibility Criteria for D.Pharma Admission 2026 

To be qualified for D.Pharam admission, students need to meet the basic eligibility criteria before applying for admission. Here is the detailed information about D.Pharma eligibility. 

1. Educational Qualification: Students need to pass their senior secondary education (12th grade) or equivalent examination from a valid educational board. 

2. Subject Preference: It is mandatory to have studied Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics) as core subjects at 10+2 level. 

3. Marks Requirements: Students are also required to secure a minimum of 50% aggregate marks at 10+2 level. However, universities provide 5% of marks relaxation to the reserved category candidates. 

4. Selection Criteria: The selection process for D.Pharma admission is based on merit grade of the last qualifying examination but there are some universities that require entrance exams like JEECUP, DCECE, or CET Exams. 

5. Other Requirements: There is no other eligibility criteria required for admission into D.Pharma course. 

Admission Process of D.Pharma: Step by Step 

D.Pharma admissions has now started for the current session, all the interested applicants are required to visit their chosen university’s portal and register before the deadline. Some universities take entrance exams while some don't so kindly check the requirements carefully before applying for admission. Candidates are required to follow below mentioned steps to fill the application form.

  • Step.1 Visit Site: Visit the official webportal of your chosen university and check the notifications and requirements carefully. 
  • Step.2 Registration: Create an account with your basic details like name, email address, mobile number and DOB. 
  • Step.3 log In: Use your credentials for login back to the page (if needed). 
  • Step.4 Choose Course: Select the D.Pharma course from the mentioned list. 
  • Step.5  Application Form: Fill out the online application form with the required information including personal, contact and educational details. 
  • Step.6 Submit Documents: Upload the essential documents along with scanned signature and photographs. 
  • Step.7 Review: Check the entire application form carefully and submit for the payment process. 
  • Step.8 Pay Fee: Make a payment of INR 450 to INR 1,500 as registration fee via UPI, Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card

Entrance Exam for D.Pharma Admission 

D.Pharma admission is usually based on a state-level entrance exam while some private universities also provide direct admission to this program. Here mentioned some entrance tests which are generally required for D.Pharma admission. 

JEECUP: Joint Entrance Examination Council (Polytechnic) is a state-level entrance test. By clearing JEECUP candidates can take admission in several diploma & PG diploma courses also in D.Pharma. It is a computer-based test, covering Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects. 

UPSEE/UPCET:  Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination, it is also a state-level examination. Scores of  UPSEEE are accepted by many government and private colleges in Uttar Pradesh to provide admission in D.Pharma course. 

DCECE: Diploma Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination conducted by  Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) to provide admission into several diploma courses. The exams are conducted in offline mode. 

D.Pharma Fee Structure 2026 

D.Pharma is a 2 year diploma level course and the fee range of this course is lower than the B.Pharma program. However the fee range totally depends on the university and location. Government universities usually offer D.Pharam admission in a reasonable range compared to the private universities. An average cost for the entire course starts from INR 70,000 to INR 3 lakh. Government Universities: Fee range of D.Pharma course at government universities generally starts from INR 10,000 to INR 25,000 per year.  

Private Universities: D.Pharma course fee at private universities ranges from INR 67,000 to INR 1.20 lakh annually.
