BVoc Admission 2026: Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc) course is a UG course that provides industry-relevant knowledge and skills in the specializations like Healthcare, IT, Retail, Software development, Tourism and many more. The program takes a minimum of 3 years to complete and its coursework is divided into 40% theory and 60% practical components.  MIT University, BHU, DU, JNU has started their admission process for B.Voc courses for the 2026-27 academic year. B.Voc is approved by UGC and offers several specializations including Web Technologies, Computer Hardware & Networking, Cyber Security etc.

The basic eligibility criteria is to pass 12th grade from a certified board with 50% marks in a relevant subject. The selection process for BVoc Admission is based on chosen university and specialization, some universities require an entrance exam (CUET)  while some provides direct admission. 15 August 2026 is going to be the expected last date for application submission, so all the interested applicants must apply before the end date. The traditional degrees are  mainly focused on theory but the B.Voc programs prioritizes real-world applications. The B.Voc program is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The main aim of these courses is to provide practical knowledge & skills in a specific field. 

BVoc Admission Eligibility Criteria

The basic eligibility criteria for Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc) is to complete your 12th grade with 50% marks. However the eligibility criteria depends on the specializations. Candidates are required to carefully check their desired university’s requirements before applying for BVoc Admission. Below mentioned the general requirements for admission to B.Voc courses. 

1. Qualification Requirements: Students generally need to have completed their higher secondary education (10+2) or equivalent examination from a valid board. 
2. Stream Preference: Some fields like IT,Healthcare require students to have studied Science related subjects at 10+2. 
3. Marks Requirements: Obtaining a minimum of 45% to 50% total marks at 10+2 level is generally required by the universities. 
4. Entrance Exam: Entrance exams are not mandatory but for some specific courses required to appear the national-level entrance test like CUET-UG or any university-specific test. However, some universities also take admissions  on the basis of academic grade. 
5. Age Restrictions: There is no age limit set for BVoc Admission. 

Application Process of BVoc Admission: Step by Step 

The application process for B.Vocation courses has already started at many universities for the current academic session. Interested students are required to check their desired universities portal for accurate details. Below mentioned the online applications process of your chosen university, carefully follow all steps to complete the procedure. 

Step 1: Visit Website: Visit the official web page of your selected university and carefully check all the details and requirements.

Step 2: Registration: Open and registration link and enter your general details including full name, email address, DOB and mobile number. 

Step 3: Log in: Enter your user ID and password to login back at the site (if needed)

Step 4: Choose Course: Select the B.Voc course and specialization from the list. 

Step 5: Fill Application Form: Complete the online application form with your personal, contact and academic information.

Step 6: Upload Documents:  Upload the scanned copies of necessary documents including scanned signature and photographs. 

Step 7: Check Form: Before paying the application fee, carefully check all the filled detailed and uploaded documents. 

Step 8: Fee Payment: Pay the application fee online via debit card, credit card, net banking or UPI. 

Step 9: Confirmation: After a few days the university will send you an acknowledgement letter or a confirmation email.

B.Voc Entrance Exam 2026 

Many universities conduct their own entrance test for BVoc Admission, while some accept national-level entrance exam (CUET-UG) scores. Some universities also provide direct admission to the Bachelor of Vocation course only on the basis of the merit score of the last qualifying examination. 

CUET-UG: Common University Entrance Test (CUET-UG) is one of the primary entrance exams for BVoc Admission. Most of the universities accept CUET-UG scores to select students. It is a computer based test (CBT). The CUET is a national-level examination. The entrance exam tests General Mental Ability, Current Affairs and Numerical Ability. 

IPU CET: Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) conducts the IPU CET (Common Entrance Test) for several Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc) courses. The entrance exam consists of 150 minutes and  100-150 objective-type questions. It is a computer based test.

• Computer Operator: A Computer Operator monitors, manages and maintains the computer, networks, systems and data backups. They are responsible for running computer operations. The salary of a computer operator starts from INR 1.90 LPA to INR 3 LPA. 
• Database Administrator: A database administrator monitors database performance and tunes it for organization, speed, and reliability. They also maintain company databases. On average, a database administrator earns up to INR 2.40 LPA to INR 4 LPA at the entry level.

University of Delhi (DU): Delhi University’s colleges like Ramanujan College, Kalindi College and College of Vocation Studies offer many Bachelor of Vocation (B.Voc) courses including B.Voc Banking Operations,  Software Development, Web Designing, etc. The fee range usually starts from INR 10,150 to INR 25,000 for the entire duration.
