What is an MVoc Program?

Master of Vocation is a 2-year postgraduate course split into 4 semesters. The program mainly focuses on practical skills instead of theoretical skills. Popular specialisations offered include Banking & Finance, Interior Design, Healthcare Management, Food Processing, Tourism and Hospitality Management, Software Development, Logistics, and Fashion Technology. Students will get a variety of job roles after completing this course, such as Travel Executive, Relationship Manager, IT Consultant, and Lab Manager. The program aims to bridge the gap between employability and traditional education through practical skills. 

Eligibility for M Voc Admission

Eligibility for M.Voc (Master of Vocation) admission requires an undergraduate degree. It prefers a UG degree in a specific field with a minimum score of 50-60% from a recognised university (UGC approved). Admission is generally conducted on the basis of entrance and merit list.

1. Academic Qualifications: Must have completed a bachelor's degree in BVoc or any other relevant field  from a UGC approved university

2. Minimum Score: Minimum marks of approx 50% is necessary for admission at M Voc course

3. Age Limit: There is no specific age limit required to get enrolled in M Voc program 

4. Specializations: BVoc is the most preferred specialization for the Master of Vocational course, but students from other relevant streams can also apply

5. Entrance Exam: Admissions are generally entrance- and merit-based in most of the universities

Admission Process for M Voc Admission

MVoc admission procedure generally requires bachelor degree in vocational or any other specific field. To start a procedure applicants are required to research for a university or college according to their preference and fill out the application form, submit documents, pay application fee and wait for college to confirm your application.

Step 1: Go to the official website of the targeted university and navigate towards the announcement section to check the admission criteria and procedure

Step 2: Start the registration process for Master of Vocational course by providing active mail and mobile number

Step 3: After completing the process of registration, you will receive credentials for your admission portal (username and password)

Step 4: Log in with credentials like username and password for the admission portal. Fill out the form to get admission in the MVoc program  by providing personal and academic information

Step 5: Admissions in some colleges or universities are conducted based on entrance 

Step 6: Upload your scanned important papers like passport-size photograph, signature of applicant, marksheet, and certificates, etc

Step 7: Check the admission form properly before proceeding to the next step to avoid form errors

Step 8: Pay the registration fee of approx INR 300 to INR 1000 by the given methods of payment like Netbanking, UPI, Bank transfer

Step 9: After completing all steps, submit your admission form and wait for the institute or university to check your application and papers to proceed further

Step 10: Shortlisted students are required to report to the university for seat selection and the counseling process

Step 11: Save and download your admission form for further use
